Mr Bean !

This was done as part of some self promo material i'm putting together, hence the white background.

Completed in Photoshop of a scanned sketch, I wanted to try something different by adding some photographic elements, sort of like a Collage effect. Everything is painted in PS except the fabric on Mr Bean's suit and the dart which I photographed from one I had at home.

Online I found a fabric swatch close to Mr Beans and using the cloning tool & such in PS I built up the rest of the suit and layed it over the original sketch.

I'm happy with this effect and I'll continue to play around with it here and there

I've recently switched to painting with "Liquitex" Acrylics and I must say there far superior to most other brands I've used in the past. These are 16 x 20" on Canvas and took about 8 hrs to paint each

Live Caricature at the Quiet Man Bar

Some more Live Caricatures drawn at this great Irish Pub "The Quiet Man" in Flemmington Melbourne. I had the luxury of spending more time on these drawings, most were done in around 6-10 min.
